MASERU, LESOTHO – Lesotho is set to host the Women in Tourism Southern Africa (WITSA) Exhibition and Conference 2023 from November 27 to 29, 2023. The event, which is being organized by the Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) and the Women in Tourism Lesotho Association (WITLA), is expected to attract over 500 delegates from around the region.

The theme of the summit is “Accelerated economic growth in tourism value chains.” The event will focus on empowering women and youth in the tourism sector, creating opportunities for businesses in the tourism sector’s value chain, and promoting Lesotho as a tourism destination.

“This summit is an important opportunity to promote Lesotho as a tourism destination and to empower women and youth in the tourism sector,” said Mamello Morojele, Head of Product Development and Investment Promotion at LTDC. “We are confident that the summit will be a success and will help to boost the tourism industry in Lesotho.”

The summit will feature a number of keynote presentations, panel discussions, and workshops. There will also be an exhibition area where businesses can showcase their products and services.
