Maseru, Lesotho – His Majesty King Letsie III has appointed Mr. Lebeko Sello as the new Ambassador of Lesotho to Italy. The commissioning ceremony took place on March 7, 2025, at the Royal Palace in Maseru.
Sello replaces Chief Thesele ‘Maseribane in the diplomatic post. He previously served as Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Justice and Law from September 2020 to August 2023.
He also worked at the Lesotho Planned Parenthood Association (LPPA) as Finance and Administration Director and later at Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation Lesotho as Administration Manager.
Sello holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of the Free State.
