George Engages Stakeholders on Communications and eSports

At the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation Ghana, engagements were held with MTN Ghana, the National Communications Authority Staff Association, and the Ghana eSports Federation to discuss sector issues, staff welfare, and non-traditional sports.

Sam Dzata George, Minister for Communication, Digital Technology & Innovations, held meetings with key stakeholders to discuss critical issues in Ghana’s communications sector.

He met with MTN Ghana’s CEO and other team members to discuss challenges facing the telecommunications industry. George expressed confidence that the conversations would lead to positive changes in the sector.

In addition, George held talks with the National Communications Authority (NCA) Staff Association to address matters concerning the NCA and the welfare of its staff. He welcomed future discussions that could influence the direction of the authority.

George also met with the leadership of the Ghana eSports Federation, stressing the importance of investing in non-traditional sports. He acknowledged the growth potential of eSports and the need for national support in this emerging field.
