Bissau, Guinea-Bissau – February 11, 2025 – On January 17, 2025, Ambassador Ngozi Ukaeje, ECOWAS Resident Representative in Guinea-Bissau, visited Ahmadou Djamanca, Director General of Guinea-Bissau National Television (TGB).
The visit aimed to discuss strategies for improving the visibility of ECOWAS programs and activities in the country. The main focus was on enhancing the capacity of TGB to produce and broadcast content related to ECOWAS at the national level.
Ambassador Ukaeje stressed the importance of increasing the visibility of ECOWAS, particularly as the organization celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. The two officials also discussed the challenges currently faced by TGB in promoting regional initiatives.
