Maseru, Lesotho – The Kingdom of Lesotho and the Republic of Rwanda have signed a General Cooperation Agreement to further develop bilateral relations and identify areas for closer collaboration.
The agreement was signed by Hon. Lejone Mpotjoana, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of Lesotho, and H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Hategeka, High Commissioner of Rwanda to Lesotho. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prime Ministers Dr. Edouard Ngirirente of Rwanda and Samuel Ntsokoane Matekane of Lesotho.
The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in various fields, including economics, science, technology, environment, education, and culture. This partnership is expected to contribute to the development and prosperity of both countries.
