Juba – South Sudan’s Foreign Minister, Ramadan Mohammed Abdallah Goc, held talks with the Secretary-General of the Anglican Communion, Retired Reverend Anthony Poggo, on Monday to discuss the implementation of the peace agreement and preparations for upcoming elections.
Goc briefed Poggo on the progress made in implementing the peace deal, acknowledging the challenges faced by the government. He expressed the government’s commitment to fostering peace and stability in the country.
In response, Poggo commended the government’s efforts in implementing the peace roadmap, despite the obstacles encountered. He emphasized the importance of accurate information about the situation in South Sudan to inform the international community.
