Ghana’s investment agency, the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), took center stage at the recent 21st Nordic-African Foreign Ministers Forum in Copenhagen, Denmark. GIPC Deputy CEO Yaw Afriyie joined Foreign Minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey at the high-level political and economic forum, which aimed to strengthen partnerships between African and Nordic countries in areas like security cooperation, trade and investment, and political dialogue.
Mr. Afriyie played a key role in a dedicated business forum, bringing together Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs), ministers, and private sector representatives from both regions. This forum provided a platform to explore and unlock trade and investment opportunities for African and Nordic nations.
Beyond the forum, Minister Botchwey also held bilateral meetings with her counterparts from Nordic and African countries on the sidelines of the event.
