Ghana rolled out the red carpet for a Greek business delegation on May 14th, exploring potential investment opportunities in the West African nation.
The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) hosted the delegation, highlighting Ghana’s attractiveness to investors. Mr. Ashong-Lartey, GIPC’s Director of Investor Services, emphasized Ghana’s political stability and strategic location as key benefits, offering easy access to regional markets.
H.E. Marianna Gavriel, Greece’s Honorary Consul General in Accra, echoed the importance of the visit. She viewed it as a chance to strengthen cultural and commercial ties between the two countries, fostering future collaborations.
The event culminated in a networking and business-to-business session. This session provided valuable opportunities for both sides to exchange market insights and explore potential partnerships.
The meeting, a collaborative effort, involved the Honorary Consulate General of Greece in Accra, several Greek business chambers and associations, and the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It also received support from the Honorary Consulate General of Ghana in Athens.
