TAMALE, Ghana – Entrepreneurs in Ghana, particularly women-led businesses, will soon have easier access to business regulations through an AI-powered chatbot developed by the Digital Transformation Center.
During a stakeholder engagement session in Tamale, officials outlined how the Entrepreneurship Policy Chatbot will break down complex policies into user-friendly formats. The tool is designed to provide information in multiple Ghanaian languages and will be accessible via SMS and interactive voice response (IVR), ensuring wider reach for minority groups and peri-urban businesses.
The initiative, backed by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, seeks to bridge the gap between policy and entrepreneurship, making regulatory information more accessible and relevant to Ghanaian business owners.
