ACCRA, March 8, 2025 – Women entrepreneurs in Ghana took center stage at a networking event aimed at bridging the financial gap for women-led businesses as part of this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrations.

The event, themed “Accelerate Action: Financing Women-led Businesses,” was organized by GIZ Ghana in partnership with the Women and Youth Wing of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI-WAY). It provided a platform for female entrepreneurs to engage directly with financial institutions to explore solutions for accessing capital, business development, and market expansion.

Participants also discussed the role of digital financial tools in driving business growth and sustainability. The event aligned with the global IWD 2025 theme, “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment,” reinforcing commitments to fostering an inclusive business environment where women can thrive as economic drivers.
