UK Deputy PM Visits Ethiopian Airlines

The Rt. Hon. Angela Rayner MP, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, and her delegation visited Ethiopian Airlines on February 19, 2025. During their visit, they toured the Ethiopian Aviation University, Ethiopian Maintenance and Repair Overhaul facilities, and the airline’s advanced flight simulators.

The delegation also held discussions with Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, and the airline’s executive management team. The focus of the talks was on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring future cooperation opportunities.

Ethiopian Airlines currently operates 16 weekly flights to London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and Manchester, connecting the U.K. with Ethiopia and beyond.
