Lesotho’s Prime Minister, Sam Ntsokoane Matekane, participated in the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) Forum at the 38th African Union (AU) Summit in Addis Ababa today. The summit brought together Heads of State to review the progress of governance across Africa.
The APRM continues to be an important tool for improving democracy, economic governance, corporate leadership, and socio-economic development among AU member states. During his address, Matekane reiterated Lesotho’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance, which are key to sustainable development and regional stability.
He pointed out that the peer review process enables African nations to share best practices, address common challenges, and strengthen collaboration to foster growth across the continent.
