The demonstrations caused significant damage to industrial and commercial establishments, resulting in major losses for several companies. The meeting aimed to assess the economic fallout and outline measures to restore stability and safeguard the private sector.
During the discussion, the government committed to strengthening security, particularly in vulnerable areas, to protect businesses from further violence. Muhate and the CTA also agreed on joint efforts to help affected companies recover, with plans to repair damaged infrastructure.
