Nairobi is hosting the Future Growth Forum 2025, a gathering focused on boosting economic collaboration between Africa and the Middle East. The two-day event, organized with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has drawn investors, business leaders, and policymakers.
Ambassador Joseph Masila, Deputy Director General for Economic Affairs and Commercial Diplomacy at Kenya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delivered the keynote address on behalf of Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Korir Singoei. He referenced Kenya’s recent signing of the Common Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with the United Arab Emirates as a step toward strengthening trade and investment ties.
The forum, themed ‘Enhancing Economic Development and Innovation Between Africa and the Middle East,’ focuses on regional cooperation in driving economic growth. Masila urged participants to use technology and the digital economy to expand trade and investment.
