Six Ghanaian students are set to begin a two-year master’s programme in Denmark after a pre-departure meeting hosted by the Embassy of Denmark in Ghana on January 21, 2025. The students were selected from partner organisations within the Danish Strategic Sector Cooperation (SSC) programme and will study at top institutions including the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
The students will pursue degrees in areas such as climate change, digital business, computer science, and engineering. The scholarships are part of the Danish Government’s Africa Strategy, which aims to foster educational exchange and strengthen ties between Denmark and African nations. The initiative is supported by the Danida Fellowship Centre (DFC) in collaboration with the Embassy of Denmark.
Ambassador Tom Nørring and Sector Counsellors of the SSC met with the students to discuss their upcoming studies and life in Denmark, ensuring they are well-prepared for their academic journey.
