State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, held talks with Iran’s Deputy Minister for Consular, Parliamentary, and Iranians Affairs Abroad, Vahid Jalalzadeh, in Addis Ababa.
Discussions centered on potential economic partnerships in agriculture, mining, manufacturing, science and technology, food processing, and cement production. Both officials acknowledged the need to enhance bilateral cooperation in these fields.
The two countries agreed to establish a joint economic commission to explore opportunities for collaboration. They also committed to strengthening ties under the South-South Cooperation framework, including through the BRICS platform.
