Ethiopia and Pakistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance political consultations and strengthen bilateral ties. The MoU was signed today by Ethiopia’s State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, and Pakistan’s Additional Foreign Secretary, Ambassador Hamid Asghar Khan.
Ambassador Arga stated that Ethiopia is committed to improving relations with Pakistan in sectors such as agriculture, trade, investment, aviation, industry, and science and technology. He reaffirmed Ethiopia’s dedication to South-South cooperation as a means of advancing mutual development.
Ambassador Khan highlighted the significance of enhancing bilateral cooperation and pointed out that the direct Ethiopian Airlines flight to Karachi has played a key role in fostering closer ties between the two countries.
