MOGADISHU, Jan. 16, 2025 — Somali Foreign Minister, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, met with Mr. Antoine Grand, the Country Director of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), on Thursday to discuss strengthening cooperation between Somalia and the ICRC.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on improving humanitarian efforts in the country. Both parties discussed key initiatives aimed at delivering critical aid to vulnerable communities. Minister Fiqi highlighted the importance of continued collaboration to address the country’s pressing humanitarian challenges.
