Somali Ambassador Presents Credentials to Uganda’s Minister

KAMPALA, 28 November 2024 – Somali Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Fardowso Mohamed Qanyare, presented her credentials to Uganda’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Okello Henry Oryem, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters today.

The meeting focused on enhancing the strong relationship between Somalia and Uganda, with both sides discussing strategies to expand their bilateral cooperation. Ambassador Fardowso expressed her commitment to further strengthening ties between the two countries and praised Uganda’s continued support for Somalia’s Federal Government.

The enduring partnership between Somalia and Uganda is built on mutual respect and shared goals, which have contributed to sustained cooperation between their governments and peoples.
