Abuja, Nigeria – The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Bola Tinubu has added more people to his cabinet, as he sworn in seven newly appointed ministers at the Federal Economic Council Chambers in Abuja. He urged them to unite with him in addressing Nigeria’s current challenges, adding that they were called to serve. This event followed the ministers’ screening and approval by the National Assembly.
President Tinubu gave the charge after swearing in the ministers on Monday, following their screening and clearance by the National Assembly. He thanked the National Assembly for their efficient review and approval of the new ministers, while also describing the service as the hallmark of human endeavour.
The new ministers are: Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of Labour and Employment; Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment; Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Ata, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad, Minister of State for Education.
