Accra, Ghana – The 2024 Regional Conference of the NEDA Sector Network, organized by GIZ Ghana, concluded successfully. The conference brought together over 80 representatives from GIZ projects across Sub-Saharan Africa and Germany.
The event focused on the theme “Socio-economic Development in Africa: Creating and Sustaining Decent Work in a More Complex World.” Participants explored innovative approaches to job creation and skills development in the region.

Helmut Hauschild, GIZ’s Head of Division for West Africa II and Madagascar, highlighted the organization’s significant achievements in training and job creation. He underscored the importance of effective communication to amplify the impact of GIZ’s work.
The conference featured a variety of interactive sessions, including plenaries, networking events, and experience-sharing marketplaces. These platforms allowed participants to exchange ideas, share best practices, and build strong collaborations.
