Windhoek, Namibia – October 2, 2024 – A three-person delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania is on a three-day benchmarking visit to the Namibian Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation (MIRCO). The delegation, led by Ambassador Mindi Kasiga, Head of Government Communication Unit, aims to learn about best practices in public diplomacy and communication strategies.
Ms. Bertha Amakali, Director of Information and Research & IT Sub-division at MIRCO, welcomed the Tanzanian delegation and expressed gratitude for their choice of Namibia as a learning destination. A team of Namibian officials will share their expertise and experiences with the visiting delegation throughout the three-day visit.
This is the second benchmarking exercise MIRCO has hosted, having previously welcomed a delegation from the Republic of Zimbabwe.
