Lilongwe, Malawi – Mozambican President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi will visit Malawi from August 28 to 29, 2024, for official engagements, including high-level bilateral discussions with Malawian President Lazarus Chakwera. The leaders will finalize agreements on air transport and tourism cooperation, building on talks held earlier this month in Maputo.
During the visit, President Nyusi will receive an Honorary Doctorate in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Malawi in Zomba. On August 29, he will officially open the 20th National Agriculture Fair in Blantyre, with President Chakwera accompanying him.
Nyusi is expected to arrive at Chileka International Airport on August 28 and will depart on August 29.
