Mbabane, Eswatini – The Eswatini Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade hosted a validation workshop for the Eswatini National Policy on Investment on Wednesday, August 21. The Principal Secretary, represented by the Registrar for Intellectual Property, Dr. Celucolo Dludlu, emphasized the crucial role of investment in Eswatini’s prosperity.
“Investment is not only a catalyst for economic growth but also a means to create jobs, enhance skills, and improve the quality of life for our people,” said Dr. Dludlu. “This workshop provides us with a unique opportunity to validate and refine the policy that will guide our investment landscape in the years to come.”
The policy aims to create an enabling environment that attracts both domestic and foreign investments, while ensuring that these investments are aligned with Eswatini’s national development priorities. The policy builds on the Industrial Development Policy and the Small and Medium Enterprise Policy.
