On a Wednesday afternoon, Macenje Mazoka, the Zambia High Commission in London participated in a significant event at the Henley Royal Regatta alongside Tim Cook, President of RowZambezi Sculling Club, and Her Excellency Albertina McDonald, Mozambique Ambassador to the UK. The event marked the eve of RowZambezi’s departure for Zambia and Mozambique for their 2024 Rowzambique Expedition.
Scheduled to commence on July 11th, the expedition will span approximately 1000 kilometers along the Zambezi River, traversing Mozambique to the Indian Ocean before returning to Zambia. The primary goal is to raise funds for clean water projects, having already secured over $100,000 through Village Water for wells and clean water initiatives in both Zambia and Mozambique.
