Milton Keynes, UK – High Commissioner of Zambia to London, Macenje Mazoka connected with local dignitaries and representatives of the African diaspora during the vibrant African Diaspora Festival held at Campbell Park.
The High Commissioner interacted with Ms. Kurshida Mirza, High Sheriff of Milton Keynes, Ms. Marie Bradburn, Mayor of Milton Keynes, Ms. Rooda Abdillahi Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer of the African Diaspora Foundation, and Countess Howe, His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire.
The festival offered a rich tapestry of African cultures. Exhibits from various African countries showcased the continent’s diverse traditions and initiatives geared towards empowering young people. Additionally, the event came alive with traditional dance performances from over 15 countries, providing a captivating display of artistic expression.
