Accra, Ghana – June 4, 2024 – Two technical experts from Dalum Academy of Agricultural Business in Denmark arrived in Ghana yesterday for a four-day visit aimed at strengthening collaboration and supporting Ghanaian farmers.
This visit follows a similar trip by their counterparts from TECHCOLLEGE Denmark in December 2023, highlighting Denmark’s commitment to fostering agricultural knowledge exchange with Ghana.
The Dalum Academy team will engage with key stakeholders in the Ghanaian agricultural sector, including visits to farms and cattle markets. A central event of their visit will be an interactive workshop hosted by the Danish Embassy on June 4th, focusing on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) within the livestock value chain.
This “fact-finding mission” aims to identify opportunities to support Ghanaian farmers and solidify the partnership between Dalum Academy and its local anchor, the Global Farming and Technology Institute (GFTI) based in Old Tafo, Ghana.
