UAE President Meets Emirati Students in China

BEIJING, May 31, 2024 — During his two-day state visit to the People’s Republic of China, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan convened with numerous Emirati students enrolled at Chinese universities and institutions.

Expressing genuine interest in their well-being and academic journeys, His Highness engaged in discussions with the students, highlighting the importance of fostering conducive environments for their educational pursuits.

Encouraging them to persevere and devote maximum effort to their studies, the President emphasized the significance of acquiring knowledge and experiences that would not only enrich their lives but also contribute to the advancement of their homeland.

Acknowledging the pivotal role of UAE’s youth in shaping the nation’s future, Sheikh Mohamed reiterated the country’s commitment to learning from global development models, with China being a prominent example.

In addition to urging the students to exemplify the UAE’s values and principles during their stay in China, His Highness emphasized their role as cultural ambassadors, bridging the gap between Emirati and Chinese communities.
