Maseru, Lesotho – Lesotho and the European Union strengthened their partnership during this year’s Lesotho-EU Partnership Dialogue, held on Thursday, 23 May 2024. The annual event saw a significant increase in participation from Lesotho’s Cabinet Ministers and Senior Government Officials, reflecting the growing importance of the relationship.
Leading the EU Delegation was Head of Delegation to Lesotho, Ambassador Paola Amadei. Notably, representatives from twelve EU member states also participated, showcasing the bloc’s unified commitment to Lesotho.
Among the attending ambassadors were H.E. Andreas Peschke (Germany), H.E. Adam Burakowski (Poland), H.E. David Martinon (France), H.E. Raimundo Robredo Rubio (Spain), H.E. Vladimir Gracz (Slovakia), H.E. Alberto Vecchi (Italy), and H.E. Tomas Ulicny (Czech Republic). Representatives from Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Portugal, and Sweden were also present.
