The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari is unable to attend all of the campaign events for the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, due to his busy schedule as President.
Mariya Ibrahim Baba, a member of the Public Affairs Directorate of the APC PCC, said during an interview on Arise Television’s Morning Show that the President has designated specific places where he will campaign with Tinubu and that it would not be practical for him to abandon his duties as President to campaign full-time.
The PCC member also revealed that the President will be in Katsina soon to campaign for Tinubu.
The absence of President Buhari at most of the campaign rallies has raised questions, with the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, mocking the ruling party for it.
