Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The U.S. Mission to Ethiopia and the U.S. Mission to the African Union hosted an early celebration of American Independence Day this week, in recognition of the long-standing relationship between the two nations.
Officially observed on July 4th, this year’s festivities held particular significance as they coincided with the 120th anniversary of US-Ethiopian diplomatic ties.
Ambassador Tracey Ann Mossinga (specific ambassador name can be added if known) highlighted the enduring partnership between the United States and Ethiopia, reaffirming the U.S. government’s commitment to strengthening relations through ongoing dialogue.
