During the meeting, Minister Tuggar highlighted the pivotal role of diaspora engagement in Nigeria’s development, aligning with the principles of the Tinubu doctrine of 4-D Diplomacy: Demography, Development, Diaspora, and Democracy. This doctrine shapes Nigeria’s approach to economic growth and global engagement, focusing on initiatives such as the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) and improving forex accessibility.

Diaspora engagement remains a top priority, with plans to leverage their expertise and capital through mechanisms like the Diaspora Fund to drive infrastructure, healthcare, and agricultural programs.
The Netherlands stands as the 4th largest investor in Nigeria, indicating substantial investment prospects and confidence in Nigeria’s market.
