President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria is set to be hosted by King Willem-Alexander and Prime Minister Rutte during his official visit to The Netherlands on April 25th.
The visit is poised to bolster diplomatic relations between Nigeria and The Netherlands, with discussions slated to encompass economic, political, and trade collaboration. Additionally, areas of mutual interest such as circular energy, migration, and food security will be on the agenda for knowledge exchange.
President Tinubu’s itinerary includes participation in a Business and Investment Forum, where he will engage in discussions aimed at fostering economic partnerships. Furthermore, he is scheduled to meet with Queen Máxima to explore avenues for enhancing financial inclusion.
The highlight of the day will be a dinner hosted by the Dutch royal couple, attended by government officials and representatives from both Dutch and Nigerian delegations.
A significant aspect of the visit will be the meeting between the Minister of Agriculture, Nature, and Food Quality from The Netherlands and the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security from Nigeria. Their discussions will revolve around collaborative strategies to strengthen innovative and resilient food systems, particularly in the face of challenges posed by climate change.
