SA’s high commissioner to Malaysia, Dave Malcomson, delivers lecture on bilateral relations

Kuala Lumpur, 12 May 2023 – High Commissioner Dave Malcomson, South Africa’s envoy to Malaysia, delivered a captivating lecture titled “30th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations: Why South Africa and Malaysia Matter to Each Other” at the Global Talk Series held at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Prof. Dato’ Ts Dr. Norazah Mohd Nordin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Industrial, Alumni & Community Partnerships), Prof. Dr. Sity Daud, Deputy Dean (Industry and Community Relations) from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Prof. Associate Dr. Abdul Latif Ahmad, UKM Global Director, along with numerous academics and students.

The lecture provided a platform for in-depth discussions on the strong bilateral ties between South Africa and Malaysia.
