Cape Town, 14 May 2023 – Yesterday, on Sunday, 14 May 2023, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, Mr Lee Hsien Loong, landed at Cape Town International Airport, marking the beginning of his official visit to South Africa. He was warmly welcomed by Dr. Naledi Pandor, the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation.

The visit holds great significance as President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to host Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Tuesday, 16 May 2023, in Cape Town. This official visit presents an excellent opportunity for the two countries to strengthen their long-standing partnership and explore new avenues for bilateral economic cooperation.
