South African Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Meets with Bulgarian Counterpart

Pretoria, South Africa – The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation for South Africa, Mr Alvin Botes, met with Ms Velislava Petrova, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Republic of Bulgaria earlier today. The meeting took place at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation’s offices in Pretoria.

During the meeting, the two deputy ministers discussed issues of mutual interest, including bilateral relations, trade, investment, and cooperation between South Africa and Bulgaria. They also explored avenues for further strengthening the diplomatic relationship between the two countries.

Both Deputy Ministers expressed their appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to them during their visit and emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between South Africa and Bulgaria. They agreed to work towards identifying areas of mutual interest for collaboration and building on the existing partnerships.

The meeting between the South African Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation and his Bulgarian counterpart is seen as a positive step towards promoting greater collaboration between the two countries and strengthening ties between the peoples of South Africa and Bulgaria.

The two Deputy Ministers reiterated their commitment to strengthening the relationship between their countries and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest. They expressed their desire to maintain regular engagement and dialogue in order to deepen the bilateral relationship between South Africa and Bulgaria.
