Dubai, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, has extended an official invitation to Macky Sall, the President of the Republic of Senegal, to attend the 28th Conference of Parties (COP28) to be held in Dubai Expo City this November.

The invitation was sent in a letter delivered by Sultan Ali Al Harbi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal. The delivery of the message took place in the presence of Minister Omar Demba Ba, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Republic of Senegal.

The COP28 is one of the most significant international conferences focused on addressing global environmental issues. The event brings together representatives of countries from around the world to discuss and develop strategies to combat climate change.

The United Arab Emirates is committed to playing an active role in addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainable development, and the invitation extended to the President of the Republic of Senegal is a testament to this commitment.

The invitation extended to President Sall demonstrates the UAE’s efforts to foster international cooperation and collaboration in addressing the global challenge of climate change. The UAE looks forward to welcoming participants from around the world to the upcoming conference and to work together towards creating a sustainable future for all.
