Pretoria, South Africa – Egypt’s newly appointed Ambassador to South Africa, Ahmed Ali Sharif, presented his credentials to the Acting Director of State Protocol, Clayson Monyela, on November 12, 2024.
During the meeting, Ambassador Sharif expressed his admiration for the strong bilateral relations between Egypt and South Africa. He affirmed his commitment to further strengthening these ties across various sectors.
In response, Mr. Monyela welcomed the new ambassador and reiterated South Africa’s dedication to deepening cooperation with Egypt. He highlighted the important roles both countries play on the African and international stage.
