Accra, Ghana – October 11, 2024 – A group of 19 Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) officers in Ghana have undergone intensive training to enhance their skills in financial intelligence gathering, analysis, and reporting. The training program was conducted in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, with funding from the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The officers were equipped with the latest tools and techniques to combat financial crimes effectively. The training curriculum included practical exercises and case studies to ensure that the officers are well-prepared to face the challenges of the modern financial landscape.
