Manzini – The Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF), a cornerstone of the nation’s economic calendar, is back for its 56th edition. This year’s event, themed “Accelerating Business Growth through Digital Transformation,” will take place from August 30th to September 8th, 2024, at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini.

The EITF, a premier business networking event for Eswatini, attracts hundreds of exhibitors and vendors from around the world. This year, organizers anticipate over 250 participants and predict the fair will generate millions in economic activity. Furthermore, potential trade opportunities worth E150 million are projected, highlighting the event’s significant impact on local businesses.

Embracing the digital age, the EITF is launching a new app to streamline the application and payment process for exhibitors. This move towards sustainability aligns with the broader theme of digital transformation, a crucial factor in optimizing business practices. Eswatini’s commitment to this theme is further underscored by government initiatives like e-commerce platform BuyEswatini.com and the use of digital platforms like Momopay for payments and permits.

The Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) emphasizes the EITF’s role in connecting domestic and international businesses, fostering innovation, and driving economic growth. Their new tagline, CONNECT | CREATE | GROW, reflects this mission. The EITF actively encourages participation through social media campaigns and branded buses traveling across the country to ensure accessibility.

Businesses interested in exhibiting are urged to secure their space promptly. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, with commitments already secured for Wi-Fi and the popular Win-A-Car competition.
