Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Lagos State, has refuted claims that he is being supported by godfathers in his candidacy. Rhodes-Vivour made this statement in response to accusations made by Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, the PDP governorship candidate, who accused Rhodes-Vivour of being supported by Chief Bode George.

Rhodes-Vivour appeared on Arise Television on Thursday, stating that there are no godfathers in the Labour Party, and that he has no godfather. He also pointed out the irony of Jandor’s claims, saying that when he was a PDP member, he had no godfather but only mentors and leaders.

Rhodes-Vivour went on to accuse Jandor of embezzlement and criticized him for his lack of values. He stated that Jandor got the PDP ticket because he was supported by national leaders of the party, including Ayu and Obasanjo.
