Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan and social media influencer, urged Lagosians to vote for parties other than the Labour Party in the upcoming gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections scheduled to take place in less than 24 hours.
On his official Twitter handle, Omokri criticized the performance of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, during his eight-year tenure as Anambra State governor. He cited Sanwo-olu’s achievement in building world-class railways and solid roads.
Omokri advised those who cannot vote for the People’s Democratic Party to vote for any other party but the Labour Party on March 18.
The Lagos State election will see Sanwo-olu, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran of the People’s Democratic Party, and other candidates compete for the votes of 7,060,195 registered voters across the 37 Local Government Areas.
