Serbian Diplomat Applauds UAE for Evacuating Citizens Amidst Humanitarian Crisis

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has received praises from a Serbian diplomat for its humanitarian efforts in evacuating Serbians from Sudan amidst a political crisis. Danica Savović, Charge d’Affairs at the Serbian Embassy in the UAE, lauded the UAE for its unwavering support towards nations around the world in their time of need.

In a statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Savović expressed her gratitude to the leadership, government, and people of the UAE for their timely response in rescuing numerous Serbians in Sudan. She noted that the UAE’s efforts have demonstrated a high regard for human life and a willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Savović added that the evacuees, including a family with children, were treated with warmth and welcome upon their arrival in Abu Dhabi. She further stated that the UAE had provided them with adequate housing and reassurance, enabling them to continue their journey back home safely.

The Serbian diplomat went on to highlight the evacuees’ appreciation for the UAE’s humanitarian efforts, stating that it would remain etched in their hearts and minds. She praised the country’s commitment to providing support and assistance to ensure the safety of foreign nationals amidst the ongoing crisis in Sudan.

The UAE’s evacuation of foreign nationals from Sudan was part of its ongoing efforts to assist nations in times of crises. The Emirates has been hailed for its humanitarian solidarity and the provision of aid to countries around the world. The evacuation of Serbian citizens is yet another example of the UAE’s commitment to promoting global solidarity and fostering cooperation between nations.
