Accra, Ghana – The President of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana, Ms. Esther Cobbah, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, on March 4, 2025, to discuss collaboration in enhancing Africa’s international reputation. She was accompanied by the President of the African Public Relations Association (APRA), Mr. Arik Karani, along with officials from both organizations.
Ms. Cobbah congratulated the minister on his recent appointment and expressed confidence in his ability to elevate Ghana’s diplomatic image. She reaffirmed IPR’s commitment to working closely with the Ministry, highlighting the potential for stronger cooperation between the two institutions.
APRA President Mr. Karani took the opportunity to discuss the upcoming IPR Ghana Knowledge Conference and APRA’s 50th anniversary celebrations. He emphasized the significance of these events in shaping Africa’s public relations landscape and requested government support to ensure their visibility and impact.
Hon. Ablakwa acknowledged the congratulatory remarks and pledged his commitment to initiatives that promote Africa’s image on the global stage.
