Gaborone, Botswana – Egypt’s Ambassador to Botswana, Ahmed Ali Sharif, has presented a copy of his credentials to Botswana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Venyo Butali, in Gaborone.
During their meeting, the two officials discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in healthcare, trade, investment, and agriculture. Both sides expressed interest in deepening political and diplomatic collaboration.
The discussion also covered opportunities for Egyptian companies to take part in Botswana’s infrastructure development projects. Ambassador Sharif conveyed Egypt’s willingness to contribute expertise and resources to support Botswana’s development efforts.
