Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres met on Friday, February 14, in Addis Ababa to discuss the ongoing security crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the need for a political resolution.

During the meeting, the leaders focused on the importance of a political solution to the situation in the DRC, with a call for accountability from all parties involved. President Kagame reaffirmed Rwanda’s commitment to a peaceful resolution that would also address Rwanda’s security concerns.
