Eswatini has partnered with Palazzo Hospitality to manage its International Convention Centre and Five-Star Hotel (ICC & FISH) in a move aimed at boosting the country’s tourism sector.
The agreement was signed at the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai on Wednesday. Eswatini’s Minister for Tourism, Jane Mkhonta-Simelane, and Palazzo Hospitality’s Deputy Managing Director, Baraa Khawash, formalized the deal after a competitive selection process, with Palazzo being chosen as the preferred operator.
Khawash expressed confidence in the company’s ability to generate a strong return on investment for Eswatini, citing its expertise in the hospitality industry. Lonela Săvescu, Chief Marketing Officer of Palazzo Hospitality, revealed the company’s strategy to attract more tourists to Eswatini by sharing the country’s rich untold stories with the world.
