Maputo, Mozambique – February 2025 – RENMOZ 2025, the largest renewable energy conference in Mozambique, will take place on February 19-20, bringing together national and international industry leaders, investors, and policymakers. The event will be held at Montebelo Indy Maputo Congress Hotel, providing a platform to discuss emerging opportunities and advancements in the renewable energy sector.
The conference comes at a pivotal time, as global leaders prepare for COP29, where a new climate finance agreement is anticipated. Discussions at RENMOZ 2025 will center on the implementation and financing of Mozambique’s Energy Transition Strategy, a government-approved framework aimed at accelerating the shift to sustainable energy solutions.
A key feature of the event will be the release of the fourth edition of Briefing: Renewables in Mozambique 2024, a detailed report analyzing the sector’s progress. Widely referenced by both government and private entities, the document compiles essential data and visual insights on various market segments within the country.
This year’s edition is expected to attract a larger audience, with an expanded exhibition area and enhanced pitching sessions designed to connect investors with promising energy initiatives.
The conference is organized by the Lusophone Renewable Energy Association (ALER) in partnership with the Mozambican Association of Renewable Energies (AMER), with support from GET.invest Mozambique, an initiative funded by the European Union and Germany, alongside contributions from Sweden and AECF.
