Pretoria, South Africa — Senior officials from Botswana, Lesotho, and Namibia are in South Africa for a two-week capacity-building program on Governance, Diplomacy, and International Relations. The program, which officially kicked off on February 3, 2025, was opened by South Africa’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ronald Lamola.
Organized by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), the program aims to strengthen governance and diplomatic skills among officials from the Southern African region. South African government representatives are also participating in the initiative, which focuses on fostering collaboration and improving international relations across Southern Africa.
