Nairobi, Kenya – Abdishakur Hussein, Acting Deputy Director-General at Kenya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with UAE Ambassador Dr. Salim Al Naqbi today to discuss the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
The agreement aims to strengthen trade and investment between Kenya and the UAE. Both officials agreed to work closely together to ensure the effective execution of the partnership’s provisions.
Mr. Hussein also updated Ambassador Al Naqbi on Kenya’s preparations for the World Chambers Federation (WCF) Summit in Nairobi, set for April 9-11, 2025, encouraging Emirati businesses to seize investment opportunities in Kenya.
